Byron-Bergen traveled to Cal-Mum to open the 2025 sectional season. The Bees came out firing on all cylinders building an early lead in the opening frame before the Raiders fought back to tie the game at 15. Noah Clare got a steal and a basket at the buzzer to give the visitors a 17-15 lead. The Bees were slowed a little in the second quarter getting outscored 10-7 in the frame, and heading to the half trailing 25-24. The struggle from the perimeter all changed as the Bees started to find the range. Craig DiQuattro, playing in only his fifth game of the season due to injury, came out on fire. He knocked down back to back three pointers and then added another moments later in the quarter. The lead quickly grew to 10 and then up to 14 behind solid play from the whole team. "We got contributions from every kid that stepped on the floor." Andre White led four players in double figures for the Bees. Cody Carlson added 13, while Cole DiQuattro and Noah Clare added 11 and 10 respectively. "We put it all together tonight. Our offensive and defensive execution were pretty good. I'm really proud of this whole group. The work the guys put in for the practices leading up to this game was very focused and it showed in how we played tonight."
